Daycare description / philosophy

First of all, thank you for your interests with Strong Step Bilingual Family Child Care.

The child care center is a licensed day care located in South Burnaby, Metrotown area, close to Royal Oak Skytrain Station. Currently, there is only one full time space for children under 4 years old left.

I am full of love, patience and passion to children. I enjoy taking care of children and view every moment with children is an opportunity to know more about them and help them to grow. Watching children grow up happily and healthily brings me the greatest happiness and honor.

I have years of experience in child care and education field . And I am always upgrading my skills and education.

Besides providing the basic services, I provide bilingual education, music program, a nutritious hot lunch and flexible hours.

I believe that quality early childhood education and care can strengthen the foundation of their lifelong mental/emotional, physical and social health. I create an atmosphere where children feel secure and valued. I focus proper nutrition and sufficient daily indoor and outdoor activities.

I believe children learn through playing and I provide children a lot of various appropriate free and structured play activities to promote their cognitive, social, emotional and physical development.

I recognize all children have their potential, and each child is a unique individual. I offer challenging but not over-whelming programs for furthering each child's development.

I realize the importance of a relationship with the children as well as between parents and myself. And I strive to have an efficient and open communication with parents in order to benefit the children.
